why boudoir photography?
How would having a joyful relationship with your body – the way you look in a mirror right this minute – change your life?
I often say my boudoir sessions are “not boudoir.”
I believe there is a place for the body to be celebrated beyond overt sexuality, and beyond only its capacity for procreation. A place of beauty and wholeness. A place of art.
Think about viewing classical art, figure drawings by DaVinci, grand scenes painted by Michaelangelo. The people are naked because our bodies are beautiful, nothing more and nothing less.
YOU are beautiful too. Let’s celebrate this amazing body you get to live in. Let me help you form a new relationship with your body, a joyful one. Let me challenge those old stagnant ideas about “problem areas.”
