Oh hey there, internet! Remember me, your friendly local birth photographer? I’m finally feeling ready to be all the way back from my maternity hiatus (well, internet hiatus, I was still taking pictures). I had my own sweet babe on May 28th and (obviously 😉 ) she’s perfection and we are all head over heels in love with her chunky self.

Way back when I was still pregnant I met this gorgeous mama who wanted to hire me as her birth photographer for late June, and I took one look at her incredible red hair and sweet family and couldn’t say no – my own mid-May due date be darned. So, three weeks postpartum I found myself having the opportunity to head onto base at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC for the first time to help welcome precious baby Ruth into the world, and I’m so glad I was there. The staff was so kind and welcoming and this amazing mama literally laughed her baby out! #goals
